Collaborate Canada is a one-day event that is packed full of information for the technical and functional audiences of Dynamics 365/AX, 365/CRM, GP and NAV. It’s being held in 4 different cities across Canada, on 4 separate dates, each day with the same (or close to the same) content.
At each location, there are separate streams for each of the product lines but all of the attendees will be at the same location on the same day, to really give you that mini Summit-like experience!
The general schedule for the GP side is a general session with Microsoft around the upcoming Dynamics GP 2018 release, to start off the day, then 4 more time slots over the rest of the day, split into two streams, functional and reporting. At each time slot, you have 2 choices of sessions.

Following up on GPUG Summit last week, I thought it would be timely to write a blog to encourage others to get involved in presenting in the future! Organizers are always looking for more people to fill presentation time slots.
Have you attended Summit or a local GPUG chapter meeting, or even a webinar online, hosted by GPUG? Have you thought “maybe some day I could be doing that presentation too”?

GPUG Summit is done for another year and this is my final post on the conference, getting home and some thoughts. I’m writing this post a day after getting home since the getting home part was a long day!

This is my 4th blog post in this series. Today, Friday, October 13th, is the 3rd & last day of GPUG Summit. The day was still full of sessions, with the last session time slot ending at 3:30 pm. Many people were leaving prior to that due to late afternoon flights. Those leaving Friday had to deal with busy traffic going to the airport due to an overturned tractor-trailer and cows on the loose!

This is my 3rd blog post in this series. If you haven’t read the first couple yet, you can find my Tuesday pre-conference blog here and Wednesday’s Day 1 blog here.
Today, Thursday, October 12th, is the 2nd full day of GPUG Summit. It was a lot less stressful than my first day but just as jam-packed.

The official first day of GPUG Summit 2017 was Wednesday, October 11th. Yesterday was the day I arrived and that blog post can be found here.
It was a full day that wiped me out, and I only managed to stay awake until 8:30 pm, but you’ll read more about that below!

Here’s a summary of my first day here, Tuesday October 10th, one day before the full conference began.

So, now that I’ve caught up with the daily recaps, I’m starting this post from the Minneapolis airport. I should be landing in Toronto right now, according to my original itinerary but I’m still sitting here. Apparently there is some awful weather in Toronto affecting all flights both in and out so we aren’t leaving, since we can’t land.
The bonus though, was Delta has been excellent this time around. They even brought in a beverage cart into the waiting gate area to give the passengers free drinks and snacks while they waited. I’ve been publicly ranting about my flight delay issues and this time I’m happy to give a shout out on a positive side.

The third and last day of the GP Technical Conference 2017 was on August 10, 2017. Like other years, the last day is a half day, allowing time for either post-conference training opportunities or for attendees to get home in the same day and not lose another day to travel.
My previous posts in this series are
