It's Sunday, November 9th, 2014 and the day before what arguably might be the biggest Dynamics GP partner conference yet… perhaps an exaggeration but with a new release pending in 3-4 weeks (GP 2015), there's tons of excitement around this year's conference. My day began leaving home (I live about an hour west of Toronto) around 7:45 am EST, and I arrived in Fargo somewhere around 3:30 pm CST I think. Long day but not as long as others (like David Musgrave!).

My flights took me through Chicago, and were uneventful for the most part, at least nothing noteworthy to report.

Here are a few pics from my flight from Chicago to Fargo, over Minnesota and near landing in Fargo:

Many of the people on my flight were heading to the same place, the Holiday Inn in Fargo, and I was pretty fortunate to get on the first shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel and first in the door to register for my room. Good timing!

This year much of the content is going to be at the Holiday Inn as well, as the primary registration was in the hotel so in less than 10 minutes, I was registered in for my room and registered for the conference, picking up my swag and attendee information and on my way. Sweet. Time to relax!

Love the swag, they are rockin' the plaid this year! Love it! That could be my crazy Canuck sense of humour, but I love it… glad to see someone is having fun.

And, of course, can't pass up the selfie with the new jacket!

After settling in, and making a trip to the local Walgreens (I forgot my toothbrush!), I've settled in my room for the evening to relax and unwind. The next couple of days will be a whirlwind with both full days of content and evenings of social events, I'm sure tonight might be my only time to get a good night's sleep!

I hope to blog each day about the events but often that is a pipe dream with the chaos of the events and social opportunities… if nothing else there will be a post at the end to recap what I can.

Those following from afar this week, remember to check out the hashtags like #reIMAGINE2014 which seems to be a common one so far and many folks will use to communicate and share information as the week goes on.
